Privacy policy

Video Studio is a video production tool built by SolidBytes. It currently serves channels we operate ourselves, and we are preparing to open it to outside users. This policy covers both stages and applies from the moment you leave an email address.

• The email and details you type when asking to be told about launch: your address, your channel or shop name if you give one, and the kind of work you selected.
• Facebook and Google access tokens granted by the account owner when they press connect, together with the refresh tokens that come with them. We receive these only when you actively grant them.
• Page and channel identifiers those tokens can reach: Facebook Page id, YouTube channel id, and their display names.
• Content you create in the tool: video files, titles, descriptions, captions, scheduled publish times, and the ids of posts made, for reconciliation.
• Sign-in accounts: username and hashed password.

We do notcollect data about viewers, followers or commenters on those pages, and we do not read anyone's friend list.

Email is used to tell you when the tool opens; it is not used for marketing mail. Access tokens are used for exactly one thing: uploading video and scheduling posts on your own page or channel. Not for advertising, not for behavioural analytics, not for anything else.

We do not sell, rent or trade data with third parties. Data leaves our servers only when it travels to the destination platform itself — the Facebook Graph API and the YouTube Data API — to carry out the posting you asked for.

All data sits on servers we manage; access tokens are never handed to a third-party storage service. Tokens are kept until they are revoked or expire. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them.

You can revoke access at any time, and you can ask for everything we hold to be deleted. The steps are on the data deletion page.
